Happy Easter too you all! mmm chocolately goodness! I have been a bit low the last few days, hence my not posting or reading anyones blogs! I always like to take a little time out for feeling sorry for myself when I have been ill. I think everyone should! It's good to be a hermit sometimes. I am a Cancerian and true to form I may sometimes go and hide in my shell...
But I am back!! And I got an award from Twiggypeasticks, I was a runner up in her giveaway and I also won in Dollybelle's peepshow's giveaway, so I cannot complain, no I cannot, especially when I received another parcel for the kids from Val and her two girls, at Dottycookie.. as if they had not given us enough already! Thanks again Val! You are a star. :D
I have finally treated myself to Crafting Springtime gifts. where the pattern for the bunnies came from. I can't keep borrowing it from the library. I also added to the order...
this book by the same author... and cannot wait for it to arrive! And to top it all off, I ordered myself some crocs after making do with imitation cheaper versions all last summer. I am getting them in bright pink and why not! That is the trouble with feeling low, you suddenly spend money when you know you shouldn't!
I've been a single parent now for a number of years and for the most I am very happy bunny with the situation, my marriage was not meant to be and I would rather be on my own than stuck in a marriage where I was (we all were) very unhappy, but sometimes, just sometimes it gets a bit lonely so this week I have been dragging myself around with this song in my head... I know tragic isn't it... (but you gotta just dig those clothes and hair!! Groovy baby)
On a brighter note here is a picture of the bunnies I sent off for my bunny hop swap
I will pass on the award that Twiggy gave me in my next post... I just wanted to post that I was still here and had not dissolved with rashness.. just in case anyone was wondering.

You have a lovely day and eat a few bunnies! x
Must be something in the air Jennie, I've had a few days of 'self reflection' too. OK, some might call it feeling sorry for myself, I call it self-reflection!
Glad you are a bit perkier (I have woken up less blue today) and here's wishing you and yours a fabulous Easter.
Take care. x
Glad you're back Jennie and feeling better. Don't eat too much chocolate and end up with another rash!
Hi Jennie, well done to you too!, I was really surprised when I discovered I had won! Josie x
Hi Jennie, I used to be a single parent, I met hubby after putting an ad in the single columns! I always said he was worth a first class stamp but he insists it was 2nd class! don't ask! :-) Josie x
Aww I'm glad you're feeling better honey, it's awful when you're feeling blue, especially at holiday times. You've done the right thing treating yourself. I've eaten far too much today and we've just eaten dinner I've had to unbutton my jeans!! We're just looking out of the window at the snowflakes falling, it's soooo pretty. I love the bunnies. Now email your address to me so I can send you a little parcel

Hi there Jennie.Hope you are ok now. Thanks for visiting my blog again.
I love reading your blog so when you are feeling a bit down just remember that you're giving us lots of pleasure.
I've been there too so I do understand. Love,Sal X
Hi Jennie,
Hope you're feeling better now, you're right sometimes it's a good thing to retreat, it will pass. Sometimes it's just too much effort to put on a happy face or write happy words when you don't feel that way. Take pleasure in the little things in life, retail therapy is always good even if you can only stretch to a spending spree in the charity shops!

Dear Jennie,
I am a scorpio, so I truly understand where you are coming from. Sometimes we water signs go off exploring in the deep end and then we forget about all the lovely sunshine in the shallow area. Glad you are back. You make bloglandia so fun!
One more thing, you do know that the illustrator of CountryBunny is Edith Flack Ackley's sister, right? I'd love to get my hands on that book!
