Bunny hop swap.

Ugh I have the dreaded lurgie. I thought I was doing too well! I am full of cold, have a sore throat and have stomach ache. I know a few of you are feeling poorly at the minute so the above card is for you (although I am not above feeling sorry for myself).
Ooooh I was going to go on about how I think I may have nearly dropped a dress size as my clothes are getting loose...but look what arrived for me just now!
I opened it up in my usual manner... hastily... and look... Some lovely rum and raisin Nougat.
A gorgeous card with a felt broach attached! A fabulous covered notebook and pen covered in pretty Easter/spring material. But when I opened the last parcel... something furry ran upstairs... I followed him and what did I find... A little bunny tail peaking out of my eiderdown... It took a lot of persuasion.. mainly with the promise of my mothers day truffles... but he finally peeked out and took a look around. In L's room he bumped into someone else very furry, and once they had checked each other out, and he didn't think he'd get eaten any time soon, he decided to stay! Thank you Val at Dotty Cookie, you have made one poorly person very happy today! And thank you Lucy at 'Lucy locket recycled her pocket' for arranging this swap, I think I'm hooked! (I will post pics of what I sent when Val has received her parcel ;) )

I'm glad the bunny survived the journey, and happy to see he has arrived just as cheeky as he left here. His ears still look too long to me but there you go!

I'm sorry you're feeling rotten - this has been a terrible winter for bugs :-(

Hi Jennie,
Sorry to hear your not feeling to good, there are lots of bugs and things going around at the moment. My hubby last week ate some nuts and his eyes swelled up, his breathing was raspy and sneezed really bad , nose streaming. Doctor said next nut alllergy might not be as lucky(hubby has never had a nut allergy apparantly you can develop them at any time.
Your parcel looks lovely and I hope you did indulge and have some of that yummy nougat! That bunny is so cute. I hope you have him tucked up warm!.

take care, hope youre feeling better soon

What a gorgeous parcel of surprises- how wonderful! I hope you feel better very soon, there are some awful things going around-probably because the Easter holidays are coming:(

I have to tell you, I adore your eiderdown. It's absolutely beautiful and brings lovely childhood memories back to me...I miss those 'before duvets' days :)
