Good grief where has the weekend and the last few days gone! Well Monday I had to travel to York to see a doctor about my nose. He has put me on another nose spray but if that doesn't work then they will operate and straighten the broken bone inside my nose. I had to look at photos that had been taken while they had a look around up there with a camera. I don't like things like that, when I had a chest x-ray done, I didn't want to look at it, it weirds me out seeing inside myself.
Why I've exchanged bedrooms with my daughter I'm not sure, and what a joy.. sorry... nightmare it has been. So much hoovering, dusting and tidying up! I stood in my empty bedroom, my hall and bathroom full of junk and said 'Who's idea was this!!!' Too late to put everything back in it's place, I had to plod on, with the lovely help of my son. (He's gone to stay with his g/f for the next couple of days, I wonder why!). How much stuff can two girls have!! Well I have plenty and unfortunately my children have inherited my ability to store 'just in case'. I decided to feng shui the rooms. Ellie now has a bookcase full of books (obviously) in the 'knowledge' position of her room. Her bed is apparently better placed and after a good sort out and and clean, I am hoping she will calm down a little, as she is finding this 'heading to teens' quite hard going. I have placed my bed in the 'marriage' position. So you should expect lots of proposals coming my way ;) I have also placed a bookcase in my bedroom full of my craft books so here is hoping I get some inspiration. I have not crafted in the last two weeks because I haven't had chance while the kids are off school, so rather than beat myself up about it, I am accepting it and being patient. I received an award from Twiggy at The world of Twiggypeasticks a while ago and have not passed it on, bad me! I have also being tagged by her, so I really should do something about both things.
Firstly the tag.
Rules:
1). Name and URL of person who tagged you.
2). Post the rules.
3). Write 7 things about yourself.
4). Name 7 fave blogs.
5). Send email to 7 blogs to say that they have been tagged.
Ookie, so one and two are done.
Seven things about me?
1/ I once saw Ewan McGregor outside Boots in town. He was with his wife. He is smaller than I imagined. He was here filming 'Little voice'.
2/ I am divorced and have been on my own for lots of years, I think about eight now. :/ i am nobody's little weasel.
3/ I get crushes on people on tv (probably due to 2/) I was devastated when I found out John Simm
was happily married, because of course he'd be straight to my house wooing me if not/and if he knew I was actually alive. (I have been mad about John Simm since the early nineties when I saw him in an episode of 'Chillers')
4/ I have naturally curly long blonde hair and spent most of my youth straightening/crimping it and wishing it were jet black.
5/ I have a brother who is three years older than me. He has a good job, married a lovely girl, has two great kids. He did everything in the right order, I tend to do things back to front. I disliked my brother when I was younger, now I think he is one in a million.
6/ I love Pandas
7/ I have an underactive thyroid.
Whoa bet you are all blown away now. So I pass this onto:
Kitty's bloggy bits
Dollybelle's peepshow
Lucy Locket recycled her pocket
Tender Arts
The Vintage Magpie
So there you go. I shall try to catch up on blogs tomorrow when hopefully I won't be moving furniture/ visiting hospital or hoovering.

Sorry if you don't like being tagged, (hurrah if you do!) it is entirely up to you all if you want to tag others, I completely understand if you don't. :D

Hi jennie,
Hope your nose spray works, you are very brave.
So have you swapped rooms with your daughter for a bigger or smaller room?!. Thats always the thing when you start sorting out, its like oh why did i start!. I always think right i will get rid of that and then at the end " i will keep that!".
I hope you get lots of marriage proposals! . If not dream of Ewan & of course Brad !
Hope you are all well x Dominique
ps thanks for my tag!!. I enjoyed reading all yours
Hi Jennie
Yes i am in love with the paint too1 it was a crown period paint for wood and metal and it is called flagon or flavon. I used every drop up and threw pot away. It was £8.50 a pot and it did two doors with two coats each!. I bought my heart for 20p at a table top sale but I think they were from ikea at christmas. I will say the paint is lovely to paint with and not smelly either , not like some of them. Ampainting everything at the moment!
Glad you're back Jennie - I've missed you! What a fantastic looking award! And this is twice in two days I've been tagged for the same thing, so I'd better come up with something!
Wow, what an undertaking swapping bedrooms must be .... it's making me cringe thinking about the squalor my two live in.
I enjoyed the seven things about you, and rest assured that we all get crushes on TV stars, whatever our marital status .... it's perfectly healthy!
:)
ps. Hope you won't have to have your broken bone un-broken .... youch!
Hope the nasal spray but if the broken nose has caused a deviated septum then I had the same thing - having broken my nose as a child and suffered ever since - I had a septoplasty about 18 months ago and hoenstly it was the best decision - I feel so much better!!!
If this what you have and you want to talk more - please get in touch!
Hugs
April xx
Think I missed a word out there - hope the nasal spray works!

Thanks so much for the award Jennie! And I loved reading your 7 facts!
Ha ha I do like to keep you on your toes, I like your facts and between you and me I'm always getting crushes on blokes off the telly,(I hate to admit this, but erm Gene Hunt erm what's that all about?? very worrying) much safer than having a crush on our windowcleaner - mind you you haven't seen our window cleaner. I have to use a flixonase nose spray at the moment as my sinuses are a funny shape and I'm always getting headaches - told you I was an old gimmer !!! Hope your spray works.

Oooh, a bit of bloggy bling :-D Thank you so much Jennie.
Hope your poor nose feels better soon, it sounds very *ouch* to me :-( I had a blood test this morning and had to lie down afterwards ... I'm such a wuss *blush*

Isnt that always the way with hair? I'd kill to be blonde! :) Sorry about the swap chaos. I understand how it feels to stand in the middle of a halfway done project and think "Oh, this was a mistake."
Wow! thanks for the award Jennie! i can see I am with incredible company with your other choices too!
Good luck with your nose stuff...sounds very intense and I agree with shabby chic...very brave indeed.
Wishing you oodles of nose relief and smooches in your future from Ewan...

Hi Jennie, I love re-arranging, but swapping rooms - now that's a major upheaval! Nice when it's all done though, almost as good as re-decorating, hope you're pleased with the results! Enjoyed reading your tag too.
