Christmas decoration swap...

So how many days until Christmas now!! Eeep how frightening and there was me, like every year with big plans to make lots of presents for everyone... and here I am like every year in the last few weeks thinking 'why didn't I start earlier!!!!' Oh to be organised!
So on to the Christmas decoration swap organised by Indigo blue. Twiggy was my swap partner. She told me that she would send me my swap on the Monday which was a great relief to me because I was a bit behind... but no she had it popped in that post and on the Friday it arrived on my doorstep (or was it Saturday... the days just blur into one). I am told by my children that the parcel smelt of Christmas (sometimes it really sucks not having a sense of smell) because of a mulled wine sachet in there. Inside were these lovely treats. So so pretty! The Santa chocolate lollipops lasted about five seconds, but that is this house for you! Thank you Twiggy, I just love getting stuff in the post!
So then I felt bad and had to hurry and make this fella for little Twiglet, which is my excuse for not having the parcel ready in time to post. (This is my second attempt at knitting a tiny sweater for a Rabbit. It is the first time I have knitted anything that wasn't just a really long looking scarf with lots of dropped stitches in it, so I don't think I did too bad, I didn't use a pattern... can you tell ;) ) I also made a dog (Taken from Allsorts pattern on her blog) and a tiny tree and a stocking which I popped some sweets in.. for Twiglet (Twiggy!) ;)
And so the parcel went that Monday to arrive at the Twiggies house were they have been very poorly. I think it had the desired effect of cheering them up... And the rabbit has being called 'Humfer' which I think is the most perfect name in the whole wide world for a Christmas Rabbit.
Btw one of my Rabbits has a new home in Germany!
Oh you might have seen that it snowed here last weekend! Here is what it looked like out of my front room window! It was very weird and very Christmassy and I really really hope it snows again near Christmas and this was not our lot!
I got these in the post as well!
I saw these lovely lavender bags that Kim from Ragged Roses was selling in her Etsy shop and I just had to have one for my mum. Aren't they gorgeous! And lucky lucky me, Kim sent me a little one with a snowman on as well! If you haven't checked out her shop then please do! Thank you Kim, they are absolutely gorgeous!

Ahhh isn't love wonderful. Glad you like your swap, we loved ours. I've called my little dog Alphonse, Alf for short :) Humfer has taken residence in our bed as Twiglet needs a `friend' for when he sneaks into our bed EVERY night!!!!!
We've had snow too, had to chip blimmin ice of the car this morning with a toy wooden sword - don't ask:)
