I really wanted the book for this doll! And was not disappointed.
It's a gorgeous book and I encourage you to put it on your christmas wish list, if you haven't already! Also check out Alicia's blog but I think most of you will already know her. It was a neighbours birthday on Sunday so I baked her a cake. It didn't turn out as well as the one I made for my mum, and I forgot to put Jam in the middle (I mean what was I thinking!!) but here is a picture anyway!
I have been cracking on with Twiggys swap, here is a sneaky peak.
I am going to finish that off today and if I can afford it, throw it in the post, then again it may be Monday.
I am going to finish that off today and if I can afford it, throw it in the post, then again it may be Monday. I got a nice glass lemon juicer for 49p yesterday (just in time for winter!!)
and some very lovely christmas teatowels.
I have a passion for all things reindeer at the minute,
they have a ton of stuff in TK Maxx of which I cannot afford but have had much delight looking at.
In other news: The sockets in my lounge have gone plink, so I have moved most of the furniture out and am awaiting the electritian). I quite like the lounge with hardly any furniture in it, it's spacious. lol.
Also the faires have apparently being visiting and left a footprint in L's splodgy make up. Nobody is owning up to making this.

Hope you are all having a topping week.

Looks like a lovely book
Some great finds.
Lovely book, cake looks yum, thanks for the sneal peek. I parcelled yours up last night but won't be posting it until Monday, our post office is closed Wednesday afternoon and it's the only afternoon I'll be at home this week - bahhhhh!! Hope you like it.

Agh! You got THE book! I think she's the next Martha Stewart. I like her better, anyway.
The book looks great especially the doll. Love the tea towels. Your sneaky peak of the decoration swap looks very similar to what I've made but I've had to do mine in white/silver.

Great finds. Have you seen the Christmas door mats in Lidl? I bought a reindeer one in red this afternoon. £5.99 but we needed a new one anyway judging from the mud in the hallway.
That book looks so interesting.
The book looks wonderful!
I hope that Twiggy loves the swap!!
;-)
spooky footprint!
Where did you get those tea towels? I want some!!!
I also want that book, and that doll, and that fabric that is stacked up on those shelves, ok, I'll have the shelves too. Phew. I'm feeling a bit greedy now...
I didn't know of Alicia, so thanks for the linky. The cake looks fab, and so does the sneaky peek. I LOVE the tea towels.
That fairy footprint is intriguing.

Hi Jennie, I looove the teatowels, they look so fabulously retro. So glad things seem to be going well with your sailor!!!! Speak to you soon from one lush to another LOL! X
Posy gets Cosy was the first blog I discovered and led me to the world of blogging,I remember sitting for days (it was over the Christmas holidays) devouring all these wonderful blogs giving me a glimpse into the lives of lovely talented people. The book looks wonderful, it's on my wish list at Amazon (along with dozens of others). Nice to catch up with you.

What a lovely book. It's on the wish list but seeing as the wish list now extends at least around the house twice over perhaps I need to cull a few things.
The book looks like a good one.
I love those tea towels!
Have a wonderful week-

Posy?.... I must have lived a sheltered life (or should that be deprived?) cos I've never heard of her, but you can bet your bottom dollar I'm going out to look for her now.
Whatever she makes, I want to make it too...she's so clever and her designs are adorable....but you, my friend are my real inspiration. When did you first pick up a needle?
Oh! I've just opened another window and found her blog/ website!
Do you have your sockets working yet? And have you put your lounge back the way it was?
A photo or two would be useful...I'm imagining an empty room with difficulty. Mine's chocka-block...at least, until we move.
