Look at this brilliant picture Annie took of the rabbit!! I love it!! She looks so pretty! So I asked Annie if I could steal it and she said yes!! So I did! (the pic not the rabbit, that would be a bit mean). It is very hot and sunny here lately... I don't really like the sun and heat all that much but it is cheery! Tomorrow we have been invited to a beach party which will probably take place near one of these chalets!
I'm looking forward to it. This picture if one of the ones my lovely friend takes and sells, so if you like it and would like to see more of his work then pop over to this site and have a browse. This is one of L's favourite photos that he has taken! In other news unfortunately we have two rogue teenagers who have taken a liking to our street and have been having a whale of a time, breaking into peoples yards, tying up their door handles so they can't get out etc. It's very annoying. Especially when they are braying on your door at half one in the morning and won't go away. It's very difficult to get L to go to bed on an evening because she is scared they are coming back. She was also sleepwalking again the other night. I'm not scared it just makes me cross. The police haven't exactly being helpful which is a shame. We know who these two are hanging around with and her mother lives down the street. I had a word with her other day so hopefully it will calm down.. who know. Luckily I have am surrounded by good neighbours and we all look out for each other (no I don't live on Ramsey street!) but it means I have been side tracked. Tonight I really must make something for the two girls who's birthday party it is tomorrow. Wish me luck!!
I have an award to pass on!
This one is from Twiggy (who always thinks of me!! :D) from 'The world of Twiggypeasticks' which is still one of my favourite ever blog names!! And also from Sherrie at Symple Tymes. Sherrie is already talking about Halloween, it's mind boggling but do go check out her lovely blog! Thank you girls for choosing me! I feel doubly fabulous now!! These are the rules (taken from Sherrie's blog, as Twiggy was insisting we wore frocks and bling and make speeches and frankly it's far too hot for that malarky!)
1)Put the logo on your blog
2) Add a link to the person who awarded you
3) Nominate at least 7 other blogs
4) Add links to those blogs on yours
5) Leave a message for your nominees on their blogs

I have also being tagged by Melanie at 'Jellybean angel'
These are the rules to the tag!
1. Link to the person who “tagged” you.
2. Post the rules on your blog.
3. Write six random things about yourself.
4. Tag six people at the end of your post.
5. Let each person know that they have been tagged by leaving a comment on their blog.
6. Let the tagger know your entry is up.Okay so six random things about me... hmmm
1. I simply cannot stand whistling in any shape or form. If someone is whistling next to me it drives me nuts. If I happened to have a pencil in my hand whilst they did it, I would seriously consider injuring them. I also cannot stand people rattling crisp packets and I would always make the kids tip their crisps into a bowl instead of eating them out of the packet.
2. I had an operation just before I was one, for pyloric stenosis, the doctor wouldn't believe my mum when she said I was projectile vomiting and she had to cover the floor with newspaper every feed time. Pyloric stenosis isn't common in girls. I had to have a operation on my stomach and the small incision was covered over by a small plaster. It scarred and that scar now stretches down my stomach but is faint and part of me so it doesn't bother me.
3. I like writing. I wrote a novel about a new age traveller which I thoroughly enjoyed writing but I never showed anyone. I have written a couple of horror stories a while ago. Now I am about seven chapters into a horror novel. This one I hope to finish and actually do something with! I would also like to have a go at writing a novel based around the 1940's but there are lots of those out already. My Dad is a writer so I guess it is in the genes.
4. I have the weird ability to wriggle secrets out of people without actually knowing I am doing it, or them knowing I am doing it. I have been told many times that I should consider being a counsellor. It is something I looked into and I did go on a course but I got ill (with an underactive thyroid) and had to finish it early because I kept falling asleep in classes. The tutor said it was a shame I had to leave as I was a natural.
5. I used to be into heavy metal when I was young, then glam rock (I crimped my hair every day and back combed it) and then I was a goth/punk kind of gal. I always wore Egyptian style eyeliner, had my nose pierced and always wore black. I don't know what I am now but I still wear a lot of black.
6. I do my own tarot cards and I am quite good at them, although I don't do readings for anyone else. I would love to go and have mine read for me again by a psychic, but the last time the woman told me I would be going to Ibiza with my mates and that I should give up smoking. I didn't smoke at that point, and I have never had any intention of going to Ibiza. That put me off really. I am quite into New age stuff and have been for a long time.

Hi Jennie,
thanks for my fab award! What a great way to start the school holidays :)
I just love those beach huts, the colours are wonderful.
I do hope those teenagers leave you all alone soon. I don't know if they realise how much they intimidate people.
xxx
Ohhh thanks for the tag missus, will have to get my thinking cap on! I like your interesting facts! enjoy your beach party tomorrow, the weather is gorgeous here at the moment too but there are blimmin corn flies everywhere - urgh!!
I love those beach chalets they are so pretty, fab photo.
Righto I have a 9pm appointment with Rupert Penry-Jones now, I'm so fickle David Tennant turns his back and I'm off :)
Twiggy x
*Kitty wanders in, eating crisps from a VERY rustly packet*
Ooops, sorry! :-O
I fold up crisp packets into little triangles when I've eaten the crisps. It's a little habit of mine - so much neater than an empty packet.
Congratulations on your award - so glad Twiggy passed it on - very much deserved.
Still haven't caught up with you despite being signed in :-p
Take care. x
Hi Jennie,
Many thanks for the award I will sort that out asap.
I enjoyed reading the rest of your post and finding out a little more about you.
Take care

Aw, thanks for the award! You are too sweet!
Thanks for the tag Jennie - I've done mine now!
April xx
Hi Jennie thanks for doing the tag it was so interesting getting to know you more. I'm a heavy metal fan among other music too.
Love the rainbow beach huts- so cheerful.
Thanks for the award. I enjoyed reading your 6 things. I had to duck my head on the whistling one. I tend to whistle (badly, even) when I'm chipper. It annoys me, so I'm sure it annoys everyone else too. :)
I really hope those teenagers stop being such a nuisance or the police stop them instead! It must be horrid not knowing what they are going to do next.
Your bunny is gorgeous! How do you cope with the fluff of sewing towelling?
Lucy x
Hello Jennie! What interesting facts! I like to write too, but tend to lose interest pretty quick. Maybe I should try short stories? lol
Lesley: You are welcome! The beach huts are pretty fabulous. So pretty to look at. We are awaiting tomorrow night as Saturday and Sunday seem to be when those teenagers strike.. fingers crossed they have got bored and moved on!
Twiggy: The weather was dull but it was good and there were lots of rock pools to look in! Was Rupert in that thing that I didn't watch because it was a bit political... burn something? I dunno, am blonde today!
Kitty: how very dare you!! Get a bowl young lady!!
I do sign in but obviously at completely different times to you!! :/
Indigo blue: Thanks :D Can't wait to see what you come up with!
Liz: I am, it's true ;) :D
April: checked it out and commented!! :D
Melanie: Thanks for tagging me!! I really enjoyed it.
Mrs Fox: of course your whistling would not bother me so much that I would attack you with a pencil! :D
Lucy: So do I! I hope they have got bored and moved on. We will find out tomorrow night.
I cope with the fluff of sewing with towels by having a very good hoover, and by not inviting anyone around to visit whilst I am in mid bunny make as it gets everywhere!!!
Bettsi: Yes you should write short stories! :D
thanks for tagging me , Jennie, done it!
Josie x
Great to find out more about you. Wishing you heaps of luck with the book.
Josie: Ooh will go check it out!!
Alison: Don't hold your breath though ;) It may be finished in 2012 or even later!!
Great facts! Nice award too!
xoxo
Dollybelle
Jennie, some really interesting facts about you! You are so talented to be able to write a book in any form, I just wouldn't know where to start. I hope you have good luck in publishing one. I am so sorry you are being troubled by those youths, haven't they ASBOS, they certainly should have. I hope you enjoyed the beach party, those huts are way prettier than the ones along our coast line. Congratulations on the award too, you deserve it. The temperature here today is stifling, I am off to make a cold drink now, before I internally combust! x
