Whilst I was deleting anything to do with someone I no longer think about, I realised how much I stop and start with this blog and how much I apologise for stopping and starting. Does anyone else do that? I guess life just gets in the way and I'm not very disciplined, maybe that should be my new years resolution.

So Saturday we put up the decorations, E was out in town with her friend, J moaned all the way through asking if we'd finished yet, and hiding behind the tree so he could watch tv on the sly... When did that happen!! usually both of them would be fighting to put the decorations up, guess they have grown up now. I miss it though, I miss them being small, I often read other blogs where people have young children and feel a bit jealous.

Anyway I started my job yesterday, it was a weird start, E was in a hideous mood before she left for school, J went off all quiet and sullen and I was all 'have a nice day then!' feeling sorry for myself. The bus was late, then one of the learners who I bumped into on the way into the building fell over (not because I bumped into her), and I had to try to pick her up, which was a nightmare as she just kept saying she couldn't and being a lead weight, anyway she crawled to a wall and helped herself up that way. Luckily the day progressed fabulously well, my boss got me a mini Henry hoover for my computer, a voodoo doll keyring (I had one but its eye popped out in the library, was on my knees for ages scrabbling about trying to find it haha) and some mini marshmallows for our hot chocolate. If that wasnt enough she also managed to get me a 'learners payment for getting a job bonus'... on my first day! I think I could possibly have the best boss in the whole wide world. I got to leave a bit earlier because its like a skating rink here and I appear to be really girly and make squeal noises whenever I slip a bit. (However the old man across the road fell and broke three ribs, thought I dont know why I'm worried, I have plenty of padding) I never ever thought I'd like Admin work but sitting there tip tapping on the computer makes me quite happy.
Funniest things that happened today were a taxi driver pulling up near the bus stop where I was stood with an old lady and he offered a lift for free, but I had to say no and he looked really cross so I said 'thats really lovely of you to offer, you are a really nice man, however I need to get to the other side of town' so he hmphh'd a lot and off he went. Then I was waiting to come home stood outside Boyes (we have a Boyes shop with the Wizard of Oz scenes in the window) and the music playing and this woman stood next to me and fully belted out 'somewhere over the rainbow' Bless, she was quite good too.

I did say I'd put some pictures up of my newest rabbit, I made dungarees this time, with a nice material I got from ebay with hot chocolate and mittens on. I am totally unmotivated and have two more of these to make for presents, and other things and I really should get a shift on... look how close it is to Christmas!!

Well your first day at work sound very exciting. Your boss sounds lovely too and well done for trying to help someome up off the ice. Twiglet and I are like Torville and Dean on the way to school, he runs along, I shout be careful and totter around like a mad old biddy - erm so not very Torville and Dean like really :)
Take care
Twiggy x
I think that as it's your blog, you should post as and when you (a) want to, (b) about what you want to, and (c) however you want to. I blog much less than I used to - as you say, Real Life sometimes has to take precedence. But I still read, and I value my bloggy friends more than they'll ever know. Hope you and your family have a wonderful Christmas. x
I am EXACTLY the same - I go through little bursts of blogging, and longer bursts of forgetting too!
Hope the new job is going well!
The rabbit is gorrrgeous! x x x
