So we have all had flu, my parents, the kids, me what a nightmare. All the things I wanted to do for Christmas had to go on hold and it was a case of last minute dashing around just buying random things. However I mananaged to get the kids what they wanted which was most important and then on Christmas Eve I made some brownies and some chocolate brittle so not all was lost (and I managed to ice my cake) We've had a lovely day today.
Oh sadly an old woman got mugged outside my house on the 22nd. I didn't get a clear look at the guy that did it I was too busy trying to get to the old woman. He'd pushed her over in the snow. This is the third time it has happened. It's beyond comprehension how anyone could do that to an eighty year old woman for hardly any money. Luckily she wasn't hurt. I hope they catch him soon.
Anyway I hope you have all had a wonderful Christmas and got everything you wanted xxx

We've had flu too :( Hope you're all well on the mend now. Very glad to hear the old lady is ok physically, but what must it have done to her emotionally? :( Poor thing.
