I am here, here I am!!

So, wow, a whole week since I did a full post! Fancy that! I have been sewing like mad, I am hopefully going to get three PIFs in the post next week and then my Mini Pifs will be following on after that! In the midst of mad PIF sewing I decided to have a go at making a bear from the pattern in my Tilda book. I made it, and thought it looked quite sweet but maybe a bit like a mouse. My mum thought it was a mouse! Then it turned out I had actually mixed up my pattern pieces and accidentally used the daschund dogs head, and not the teddy bears head and this is what came from that, a very beary mouse!! I think it's kind of cute really!
In the post this week I got some fabulous things! From Josie at Sykesillysite, I got a lovely book and a gorgeous peg bag (which goes with the carrier bag holder I got from her before) I was runner up in a giveaway on her blog! Thank you Josie!!
And from April at Cake makes the world a better place. I got a great cross stitch magazine, some maltesers,
and a cross stitched J card which my son claimed was his when he saw it!!
Also a wonderful teapot shaped teabag holder and
a really sweet cross stitched coaster This was from another PIF, which I will do another time and I only have to pass it on to one person... so phew. Thank you April!!!
I got some lovely smurf blue shoes the other day, whilst I wait for my lovely pink crocs to be in stock at my catalogue.
Katchoo seems to like them! He would wear them if he could!
I hope to catch up on some blogs tonight, but if I don't I am definitely catching up tomorrow.. it may take me all day ...but I'm determined!

Awwww, the mouse-dog-bear is cute! Love the blue crocs too - fab colour. I'm afraid I have black ones - so boring.

Glad to see you back. x

No one is you ...& that's your power said...

you are so clever. I have moc crocs too in red & pink ones. They are brilliant as when they get grubby they can just be washed easily. Also ideal for kids in the summer & so comfortable too.
I love your your treats you received too.

Jennie, I have just noticed a home with a heart link in your sidebar, thanks for putting it there, it is so sweet of you and very much appreciated. Your postcard, it doesn't look as if it is signed MLA, but is so like her drawings? I think it is funny you got your patterns muddled, but the finished article has turned out well. Thanks for taking time to catch up with my blog. By the way I like your ginger cat. x

hahah...cute mousie bear.... I once got a poodle when I tried to elongate one of my bear pattern noses... then I had to invent poodle bodies and legs... oh, and a clever tail..hahhaha... they turned out great. sometimes happy accidents are lots of fun.
