Happy Valentines Day. I hope you have all had a great day.I have to say I enjoyed this year more single than I did when I was in a relationship. I had a nice day at work, got treated to lunch. I got a box of lilac and rose chocs from my Mum and a knitted heart which I will try to take a photo of in daylight to show you. And my Dad gave me a box of chocolates from the chocolate tasting club... spoilt!!
I watched a brilliant film the other day called 'Glorious 39'
I may just be late discovering this gem but I loved it, more so for the lead actress's gorgous outfits.
Set just before the war and written by Stephen Poliakoff, it had me gripped from the start right until the end.
Well worth a watch so if you get the chance and if you love the whole 1930/40's look then give it a whirl. (Although be warned they do show what happened to a lot of pets just before the war and some might find that upsetting). Is anyone else watching 'The killing'?
The Danish crime Drama on BBC4? I found out about it quite late and watched six episodes back to back on iplayer. I was taken in right from the start. I can't wait for weekends to come rolling around, 'The killing' on Saturdays, and 'Being Human' on BBC3 on Sundays. Happy days.Side note: I finally realised you could see the stats on these blogs, not that it doesn't say stats right there are the top, clear as day. How surprised was I to see that some traffic is coming from a nekkid sexy site :O So for those who come on this blog to find a bit of sauce, you'll be disappointed unless you want something of the ketchup variety ;)
