So much to say so little time to blog, that's what happens when you leave it months and months at a time :(Hasn't it been the longest winter ever? I don't know about you all but things haven't been all that great since Christmas for a lot of people here.
So what with the kids having colds, sickness, you name it we've all had it!!! it just seems to have been the longest darkest winter ever!! I have never been so relieved to see sunshine... ever.
On a creative note, I did make Ellies Coraline doll, see exhibit A ;)
She took a long long time to make, but I made her from my own patterns all on my own without any help, (ugh the mouth took about ten attemps, tear and tantrums at about eleven at night lol) so I'm rather proud of her :D Also El thought she was fantastic, so that's a bonus lol.
I also got an ottoman for £8 which desperately needed doing up. So I painted it in Cath Kidstons 'apple green' paint and covered it with a CK pillowcase and I think it looks very nice indeed.
Was desperate for somewhere to put my linen. :D I've now got another one now which I picked up at at the car boot at the weekend, to do up :/
I also have a bit of exciting news well for us anyway lol. When my feckless ex husband I (who now lives in Dubai) got remarried they had a daughter. L was desperate for pictures of the new baby and would practically beg her dad when he did bother phoning them to let her have some, they never came. Anyway five years have passed (L always kept asking about her half sister). Feckless split up with his wife and both her and her daughter moved back to the UK. In a moment of sunshine fuelled giddyness two weeks ago, I decided to message her on farcebook to see if it would be possible for L to have a picture of her sister. Not only was her mother overjoyed I had got in touch, by the end of two days both sisters were on the webcam to each other!!! and plans for them to meet up in the summer hols are being made. L got in touch with her sister and she now has access to as many pictures she wants. She is so proud of her little sister and I am so so glad I took that leap and messaged. I've been outside planting. I've planted carrots, potatoes, onions, brocolli and other stuff which I've forgotten, well it will be a nice surprise when/if it grows lol.

It really does not matter how often or not you blog. Life comes first. I loved the tale of two sisters 'meeting' like that. Brilliant of you to take that step to message as well. Many thanks for visiting my blog today.Take care.xx
Hello you. Bad news about the nose/breathing thing :( That's pants. Is there any chance you can get some sort of compensation for that?
Well done with the doll. I understand your sadness at finding other rabbits - I felt like that when I discovered monkeys in hats :(
This last winter was horrid - dark and cold, and I am also glad it has gone.
Take care. xx
