birthdays galore.

Had a lovely day at Robin hoods bay, stopped for breakfast, then onto the Lavender farm. It was gorgeous. I made a victoria sponge. I wish I would remember to take my camera places with me. grr. I could have taken some lovely pictures of beaches and lavender.
On Sunday it was my boys 18th birthday. 18!! (I am 38 on the 14th of this month, cripes, I feel about twenty). J doesnt drink so he just wanted a bbq for his friends on the beach, so we did that on saturday, it was a lovely day and we got to use his gfriends chalet (it's her birthday on the same day as mine so they had a joint party). Once again no photos, but here is his mini me, which I made for him. He loved it. :D
I am pleased with how it out :D

Those peg dolls are just so sweet. I want one of me in my naval uniform now. Jealous. Good to see your sailor is a well behaved one too, you only get stripes if you're good!

What sweet gifts and how wonderful to have people in your life who appreciate them, especially boys! My big darling is nearly 13 and I don't believe I have ever loved him (or him me) more in our lives together. I really hope things don't go too BAD for teenage times. Though I am a bit scared. Something handmade is always super special.
