Cor!

I'm ever so sorry, I am just so busy doing absolutely nothing! Well shopping and shopping and attempting to make things but never quite getting there and look how close it is to Christmas!! Am I ready? Am I ever ready?!
I love blogs at Christmas, I did endeavour to post spectacular things on mine leading up to the opening of presents day, but I have not managed it, so that's a bit rubbish. I think I may be more of an Easter person. ;)
I was pretty nervous about going to a ball. One thing I will say is Gok Wan undies are not all they are cracked up to be, mine made me look bigger than I was, and hook and eye fastenings, the need to go to the toilet and lots of drinks made it a bit of a nightmare.
Plus the water is different down South to here up North and my hair went a bit frizzy bah!
I went to see a fortune teller. We had to queue up for about two hours but it was a good ice breaker. Mine wasn't very good. She told me I would fall in love with someone of another nationality, answer and advertisment for a job which entailed wearing a uniform and that I would move away, so watch this space LOL! Apparently the other one was very good, mine sounded a bit drunk and had a stain down her satin kaftan so I'm not that sure she was totally accurate! ;)
High heels, another nightmare! I could hardly walk after about five minutes of wearing them. Next time, if there is a next time, I shall stay well away from glamorous high heels, and shape forming underwear.
I don't have any photos as yet, there are some of me on facebook but they are hideous and I don't want to put them on my blog. You know when someone you hardly knows takes pictures of you when you are not really expecting them then puts them on facebook so everyone you know can see them, even the one where you have three chins and look worse for wear, well that happened to me and I spent a whole afternoon crying about what a shambles .

I hope you are all cracking on with your Christmas stuff. I will try to blog before Christmas but then again... am intending on decorating (madness I know) so I am not sure if I will get chance.

I'd be devastated if someone put a photo of me on facebook too, I hate having my photo taken!
I guess I won't be buying any of that underwear then lol.
Happy Christmas and good luck with the decorating :).

Glad you had fun, forget the photos (I hate having my photo taken, my 3 chins turn into 20 - tee hee) Whenever I go `down South' my hair goes funny, kind of like a dandelion clock! that's curly hair for you. Have a super duper Christmas

Hope you had a lovely christmas time with your family. I feel like a christmas pudding!, have maged to not eat chocolate or a mince pie for two days at moment!

Your sailor sounds like a real treasure. I'm sure you don't look anywhere near as bad as you think. Someone once said they always thought they looked hidous in every photo. Now they are 70 and look back and see how pretty they really were if only they'd realised at the time.

Do you know I had all good intentions to post over Christmas, but just didn't get the time, then to top it all I got the dreaded flu virus right over Christmas, so the whole month was a disaster! I thought 2009 would be better and now I have a really stinking cold! I feel exactly the same about photos, that is why I like to blog, as people get to know your personality first. You are right about the water down here, it is so hard, I always love to visit somewhere with soft water, the soap and shampoo lather up so much better! We have been up the Spinnaker Tower and visit Gunwharf every now and again, it was a shame it was foggy for you, I hope you still enjoyed the day. x
